All of us at Pediatric Hands On Therapy have missed seeing the smiling faces of our patients and their families during these difficult times. We have greatly appreciated your patience while we learn to navigate this new way of life and provide virtual treatments. While the option to continue tele-therapy is still available, we are happy to announce we’re slowly reopening for in-person treatment sessions while aligning with the state’s phased reopening program. While we are very excited to see our clients and get back to the playing we love to do, we are first-and-foremost committed to keeping our kids, their families and our staff healthy. Below you will find Covid-19 policies and procedures. We ask that you read them carefully so you can assist us in providing the best possible care to all as we move forward.

Upon arrival to the clinic, please text or call your therapist to notify them that you have arrived. We will be greeting all patients outside as the waiting room area will remain closed at this time. We ask that you remain in your car or outside, while social distancing from others, until the therapist returns your child following treatment. If you would like to join your child during their sessions , you are welcome, but we ask only parents do so; no siblings or others at this time.

Upon arrival, your child’s temperature will be checked, as well as yours if you wish to come into the treatment session. Anyone with a fever above 99.5 will be asked to remain at home and not return for at least 72 hours after the fever has subsided.

Patients and therapists will wash their hands (or use hand sanitizer) before, during, and after each session.

All therapists are required to wear masks throughout each treatment session.  We also have masks available for clients, as well as for parents if they want to join their child in treatment, although this remains optional at this time.

Staff will be sanitizing toys and equipment after each use.

At this time, only two therapists will be treating in the clinic at once, and they will always adhere to the 6-feet social distancing requirements.

Upon arrival, parents will be asked to sign a waiver stating they understand the risk and liability  of Covid-19, as well as their compliance in adhering to these polices and procedures before their child’s treatment session can begin.

As part of the waiver, we ask that you honestly answer the following questions:

Has anyone in your household been in contact with someone who has displayed symptoms of Covid-19 (fever, fatigue, dry cough, difficulty breathing) in the last 14 days?

Has anyone in your household traveled internationally in the last 30 days?

Has anyone in your household traveled to a high impact city within the U.S. in the last 30 days?

Has anyone in your household been exposed to Covid-19 in the last 30 days?

Has anyone in your household been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 30 days?

We thank you for helping us stop the spread of Covid-19 in our community. We look forward to getting back to doing what we love and providing the best care possible to all of our patients. See you soon!
